What will I pay?

You have three service packages of choice. You can take one at the time as you go along. You may want to be simply introduced to the Portuguese system and local property market, so that you can think more on your investment idea. On the other hand, if you made up your mind already, or you have done the purchase and need professional service to manage your home renovation, go for it!

Will You Handle Purchase Funds For Me?

I´m afraid not. All funds will go through the usual channels via solicitors and banks.

How Many Properties Will Be Shortlisted?

Again this depends on you. Some clients have already started searching and know exactly what they want. If that’s the case, only couple of properties will be shown. On the other hand, if you’d like to spread your wings and sample contrasting properties in different locations, fifteen homes might be shown. It all depends on the brief you provide.

How Much Time Will I Save?

Statistics tell us that ordinary buyers spend nearly seventy hours searching the internet, ringing estate agents and viewing unsuitable and uninspiring properties before they find the right one.

Because all the hard work is done for you, clients spend an average of just six hours on their search – and most of that is spent on the personal property tours arranged. There simply isn’t a faster, easier way to purchase your ideal property.

What If I Want To Be Involved?

You can have as much or as little involvement as you like. For example, if you want the expertise and honest advice, but want a hands on role during the negotiations or any other stages that’s fine. If you’re living overseas, I´ll be happy to look after everything for you.

Will you manage the whole process for me?

Yes. I’ll manage the full property search and purchase from start to finish – from initial searches until contracts are completed. You won’t have to worry about a thing. The same applies on the Construction Project Management services as described in the packages.
Any specialized requirements that may arise will be translated and if need be introduce you to lawyers, solicitors, tax advisors, surveyors, architects, builders or other required services to deal with the particular scenario.

Will I be penalised if I start a search but do not proceed?

No. If your circumstances change during the search period, and you do not buy a property, no additional charges are due. That s why a start up fee applies on the search service. This initial start up fee is deductible from the success fee.

Will I see properties that aren't on the open market?

Most likely. Although most of the properties are sourced through estate agents, some properties might be available through local network of industry professionals, including architects, lawyers, wealth managers, developers.

Why shouldn't I use an Estate Agent?

Because home hunters represent you, not sellers or landlords. No hidden agendas. Your best interests are always at heart, so you’ll get a realistic appraisal of a property’s real strengths, weaknesses and risks. What’s more, whereas estate agents can only show you properties on their books, the home hunter scope is much wider.
